 formed and recorded with a wide range of major jazz artists and is widely 
 recognized as one of the leading voices on the modern jazz bass scene\, in
 cluding his longtime role as a featured bassist with the Mingus Big Band.\
 nThe Boris Kozlov Quartet brings together masterful improvisation\, dynami
 c interplay\, and high-level musicianship rooted in the traditions and for
 ward motion of contemporary jazz. Expect an evening of richly textured com
 positions\, driving rhythm\, and fearless ensemble playing from one of tod
