 n alto saxophonist\, composer\, and bandleader from Philadelphia and a gra
 duate of The Juilliard School. He has gained international recognition thr
 ough his recordings as a leader and collaborations with artists including 
 Jason Moran\, Wynton Marsalis\, Joel Ross\, and Nasheet Waits.\nKnown for 
 his commanding tone\, expressive improvisation\, and emotionally charged c
 ompositions\, Wilkins combines modern jazz language with influences drawn 
 from gospel\, blues\, and the broader Black American musical tradition. Hi
 s recordings and performances have received widespread critical recognitio
 n for their intensity\, ensemble cohesion\, and compositional depth.\nThis
