rformances and live music.\n\nExtending the festivities along James Lane\,

 pton’s history\, local businesses and community.\n\nAbout Mulford Farm\n
\nMulford Farm provides a particularly meaningful setting for the celebrat
ion. The property recently underwent a comprehensive restoration highlight
ing its Revolutionary War-era appearance\, with the exterior and interior
layout remaining largely unchanged from how they would have appeared in 17
 76. Restoring the house to its 1770s appearance allows visitors to gain a
deeper understanding of daily life in East Hampton during the American Rev
olution\, including the essential role enslaved people of color played in
sustaining the household during the British occupation.
