DESCRIPTION:Project MOST is excited to announce their summer benefit - Maki
 ng the MOST of Everyday - which will take place on Sunday\, June 28 from
  4 - 6 p.m. at Moby’s in East Hampton (341 Pantigo Rd.). The bene
 fit will feature an afternoon of celebration and an opportunity to support
  scholarships\, creative learning programs\, and honor the champions\, adv
 ocates\, and donors who make Project MOST a cornerstone of youth enrichmen
 t in the community.\n\n“I am continually inspired by the impact our prog
 rams have on young people and families in our community. This event is not
  just about raising funds\; it’s about opening doors. Every dollar helps
  provide access\, opportunity\, and a sense of belonging for students who 
 deserve the chance to thrive. We’re so grateful to everyone who joins us
  in making that possible\,” shares Melanie Hayward\, Project Most Board 
 President.\n\nAs Project MOST marks its 25th anniversary this year\, the o
 rganization will honor former East End resident Joe O’Connell at its ann
 ual summer benefit. Known to many as “Dr. Joe\,” he had been a steadfa
 st advocate for Project MOST\, providing a generous early donation that he
 lped launch the Springs School after-school program two decades ago.\n\nFo
 llowing a distinguished career in public education\, Dr. Joe dedicated him
 self to addressing the unmet needs of children and families. He was a foun
 ding member of the East Hampton Youth Alliance\, which offers young people
  a safe and supportive place to go after school. He also played a pivotal 
 role in raising $4.4 million for the RecCenter capital campaign—now the 
 East Hampton YMCA—and served as Vice President and Director of Operation
 s from 1993 to 2000\, continuing his leadership on the Board of Managers t
 hrough 2003.\n\nIn addition\, Dr. Joe founded and led the East End Initiat
 ive\, which provides scholarships and financial assistance to low-income s
 tudents\, as well as grants to teachers developing innovative educational 
 programs.\n\n“We are thrilled to honor Joe at this year’s event. He wa
 s instrumental is getting our after-school program off the ground at Sprin
 gs School 20 years ago. Dr. Joe had a big place in his heart for Project M
 OST and dedicated much of his life to supporting community projects. His g
 enerosity and commitment to Project MOST has helped shape what Project MOS
 T offers today\,” shares Project MOST Executive Director Rebecca Taylor.
 \n\nThe Summer Benefit will take place in the beautiful gardens at Moby
 ’s featuring the soothing sounds of the Bill O’Connell Jazz Trio al
 ong with cocktails and hors d’oeuvres as well as a silent auction and a
  paddle raise. The auction will go live online on June 25th. Tickets cost
