Rowdy Hall to Host Guinness Beer Pairing Dinner on October 27

Rowdy Hall, located at 177 Main Street in Amagansett, will host a special Guinness Beer Pairing Dinner on Tuesday, October 27, at 6 p.m. The evening will feature a multi-course, Irish-inspired menu thoughtfully paired with selections from the Guinness family of beers, hosted by Guinness Brand Ambassador Michael Reardon.

Guests will enjoy an evening celebrating the rich flavors and traditions of Irish cuisine and brewing, with each course designed to complement a different beer, including Guinness Draught, Harp Lager, Smithwick’s Ale and Guinness Foreign Extra Stout.

The evening will begin with a selection of passed appetizers paired with Guinness Draught, including:

• Guinness-Braised Short Rib Croquettes – Horseradish crème fraîche and pickled shallot
• Crispy Oysters – Guinness stout remoulade and malt vinegar
• Bangers Arancini – Irish sausage, aged cheddar and Guinness mustard
• Smoked Salmon Potato Cake – Irish smoked salmon, dill crème fraîche and pickled onion
• Caramelized Onion Tartlet – Whipped goat cheese

The first course, paired with Harp Lager, will feature a family-style Irish-inspired board with bangers and Guinness mustard, aged Irish cheddar and Cashel Blue cheese and spiced beef with pickled vegetables and cornichons, house-made soda bread and Guinness-onion jam.

For the main course, guests will enjoy a traditional Shepherd’s Pie, featuring Guinness-braised lamb, pearl onions, crispy colcannon potatoes and bone marrow, paired with Smithwick’s Ale.

The evening will conclude with Guinness Stout Pudding, topped with whipped cream and paired with Guinness Foreign Extra Stout, providing a rich and indulgent finish to the meal.

Throughout the dinner, Guinness Brand Ambassador Michael Reardon will guide guests through the beer pairings, sharing insights into the flavors, brewing traditions and characteristics of each selection.
