  across musical traditions\, driven by raw groove\, swing\, and an uproari
 ous sense of fun — all while maintaining high musical standards.\n\nFrom
  their 1998 debut onward\, the quartet has built one of the truly enduring
  artistic bonds in contemporary jazz — a chemistry that retains every bi
