DESCRIPTION:Hamptons JazzFest presents the Tony Davis Quartet at Hampton Li
 brary in Bridgehampton — a FREE outdoor concert blending jazz\, blues\, 
 Afro-Latin influences\, and original compositions.\n\nHailing from Hartfor
 d\, CT and based in New York City\, Tony Davis is an internationally accla
 imed guitarist\, vocalist\, composer\, and producer. He has performed at p
 restigious venues including The Blue Note\, The Village Vanguard\, Smalls\
 , Jazz at Lincoln Center\, and Birdland\, and at major festivals including
  the Newport Jazz Festival.\n\nIn 2016 Davis was recognized as a rising st
 ar guitarist at the Wes Montgomery Tribute Festival in Indianapolis\, perf
 orming alongside jazz guitar legends Bobby Broom\, Peter Bernstein\, and P
 at Martino. His music seamlessly blends elements of Latin traditions\, fol
 k\, rock\, and classical music with deep roots in jazz and blues — contr
 ibuting a unique and compelling voice to contemporary music.\n\nIn 2020 he
  signed with Posi-Tone Records and released his debut album Golden Year\, 
 featuring an all-star lineup including Christian McBride\, Joe Farnsworth\
 , and George Coleman. He has since signed with La Reserve Records\, releas
 ing Daring Two Be\, a duet album with Brazilian vocalist Jamile Ayres.\n\n
 This performance at Hampton Library is free and open to all — a true com
 munity concert celebrating the best of contemporary jazz on the East End.\
