Long before the first fireworks light up the night sky, the East End comes together for one of its most cherished Fourth of July traditions: hometown parades.
Whether you’re lining Main Street in Southampton, cheering on community groups in Riverhead, or celebrating along the North Fork in Southold, these festive processions capture the spirit of Independence Day with marching bands, veterans, volunteer firefighters, antique vehicles, local organizations, and plenty of red, white, and blue.
Many of this year’s celebrations also include special tributes marking America’s 250th birthday, making 2026 an especially memorable year to join the festivities.
