Jean Shafiroff Hosts Elegant Palm Beach Luncheon Celebrating NY Women’s Foundation

Palm Beach society gathers at Café Boulud for a Women’s History Month luncheon supporting the New York Women’s Foundation

Philanthropist, author, and TV host Jean Shafiroff hosted an elegant luncheon at Café Boulud in The Brazilian Court Hotel to honor Women’s History Month and support the New York Women’s Foundation, a charity she has long championed. The event, privately funded by Jean and Martin Shafiroff, brought together 45 Palm Beach society figures to celebrate women’s initiatives and philanthropic efforts.

Shafiroff, who serves on multiple charitable boards including the French Heritage Society and Southampton Hospital Foundation, spoke about the global need to empower women and families.

“Women in many parts of the world are treated unfairly,” she said. “By celebrating Women’s History Month and the work of the New York Women’s Foundation, we highlight the importance of women’s equality and fair treatment for all.” — Jean Shafiroff

Guests enjoyed a beautifully curated lunch in Café Boulud’s private dining room and included notable Palm Beach figures such as Martin Shafiroff (Vice Chairman, Stifel), Ray Kelly (former NYPD commissioner), Veronica Kelly, CeCe and Lee Black, Ava Roosevelt, Ramona Singer, Kim Dryer, Alex Hamer, Jim and Meghan McCartney, Rick Rose, Nancy Stone, David Granville, Jeff Pheiffer, Kit and Laurette Kittle, Harry and Valerie Cooper, Lora Drasner, Lee Fryd, George Ledes, Whitney Schott, and Christine Schott.

Shafiroff, the author of Successful Philanthropy: How to Make a Life By What You Give  is celebrated for using her platform to bring visibility to meaningful causes while inspiring others to get involved. Her work spans women’s rights, underserved communities, health care, and animal welfare, and she frequently hosts and chairs major charity galas in New York, Palm Beach, and beyond. She also hosts a television show, “Successful Philanthropy.”
