Boris Kozlov Quartet

Hamptons JazzFest presents the Boris Kozlov Quartet at the Masonic Temple in Sag Harbor — a virtuosic, driving evening deeply rooted in the spirit of modern jazz, featuring fearless ensemble playing and world-class musicianship.

Born in Moscow and based in New York, Boris Kozlov is a Grammy Award-winning bassist, composer, and bandleader known for his powerful tone, deep swing, and sophisticated compositions. He has performed and recorded with a wide range of major jazz artists and is widely recognized as one of the leading voices on the modern jazz bass scene, including his longtime role as a featured bassist with the Mingus Big Band.
