Druker will be joined by New York State Assembly Member Rebecca Seawright, television host and philanthropist Jean Shafiroff and LGBTQ+ advocate and philanthropist Judith Kasen Windsor for the opening reception on Friday, July 10, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Clean by Meurice, 26 Jagger Lane, Southampton. A pop-up exhibition will follow on Sunday, July 12, from 4 to 8 p.m. The exhibition will be on view through the summer and Durker will be adding new pieces from time to time.

The collection showcases Druker’s bold colors, abstract compositions and signature layered style, inspired by her belief that people — like paintings — are complex and multifaceted, never defined by just one layer.

A graduate of Parsons School of Design, Druker turned to painting as a platform for raising awareness about mental health in honor of her late mother, Linda.

Proceeds from “Joy” will benefit the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline and the Edie Windsor & Thea Spyer Foundation, honoring the LGBTQ+ pioneers whose landmark Supreme Court case helped secure marriage equality nationwide. Their legacy made it possible for Druker to say, “I do.”
