Padel Meets Philanthropy in the Hamptons: A Star-Studded Charity Tournament to Benefit Children and Animals

In a summer already packed with high-profile gatherings, a new event aims to blend competitive sport with meaningful charitable work. On August 23, the Brady Hunter Foundation will host “Padel for a Purpose,” a celebrity-driven charity tournament at Brisas East Hampton. Proceeds will support causes for both children and animals.

The event will run from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and is expected to attract a mix of professional athletes, influencers, and philanthropists. Among the co-hosts are UFC champion Colby Covington, former NFL wide receiver and television personality Dale Moss, model Angie Harron, Serving Hamptons cast member Samantha Crichton, comedian and Snapchat host Ted Jones, and entrepreneur Richie Hosein.

Attendees will enjoy live matches, DJ sets from Rob Beer and Bryan Griffin, and a special appearance by the Southampton Animal Shelter Foundation, which will bring adoptable puppies. The evening wraps up with an after-party at Common Ground East starting at 8:30 p.m.

Ticket prices start at $150 for general admission and $300 for tournament participants. Complimentary tickets are available for selected supporters and community leaders. Availability is limited, and a waitlist is expected.

The event supports the Brady Hunter Foundation’s mission to champion the welfare of children and animals. This cause is also featured in the new CBS weekend series, Extraordinary World with Jeff Corwin.
