Philanthropist Jean Shafiroff hosted a festive holiday reception at her New York City residence honoring The New York Women’s Foundation (NYWF) and its work advancing gender equity, economic opportunity, and racial equity across the city.

Leaders from NYWF thanked Shafiroff, a longtime board member and supporter, for her leadership and commitment during a pivotal moment for equity and justice in New York.

New York State Assembly Member Rebecca Seawright presented citations to both Shafiroff and NYWF for their outstanding philanthropic leadership and efforts to break the cycle of poverty. Fashion designer Malan Breton offered a seasonal vocal performance in the spirit of the holiday season.
