The opening reception on Jan. 17 drew an enthusiastic crowd, giving them a first look at the impactful exhibition spotlighting Graham’s groundbreaking partnerships in dance, music, design, and fashion. The collection features original sets by Isamu Noguchi, costumes by Donna Karan, Halston, and Graham herself, plus contributions from composer Aaron Copland and lighting designer Jean Rosenthal.

Archival photos, films, interviews, and performance footage showcase the generations of dancers and artists who brought her vision to life. Curated by Oliver Tobin from a concept by Sheri L. Pasquarella, with exhibition design by Tobin, Pasquarella, and Joe Jagos, the show celebrates the collaborative spirit that made Graham’s work revolutionary—and enduring.
