East Hampton Village Beach Parking Permits: In-Person Sale Rescheduled to Jan. 29

If you are spending your snow days stuck inside counting the days until summer, listen up:

Due to the extreme winter weather storm, the in-person sale of 2026 East Hampton Village nonresident beach parking permits originally set for Tuesday Jan. 27 has been pushed to Thursday, Jan. 29.

The one-day sale for town residents will be held at the Emergency Services Building (1 Cedar St, East Hampton), with doors opening at 7 a.m. and sales beginning at 9 a.m. Permits cost $500 and are required to park at Main, Georgica, Egypt, Wiborg’s, and Two Mile Hollow beaches from May 15–Sept. 15.

Only one additional permit may be purchased per person. Online sales begin Feb. 2 at 9 a.m. at $750, plus fees. A total of 3,100 full-season permits will be available between both sales.

The coveted beach passes go quickly, so plan accordingly. Beach time can’t come soon enough.
