Victor dE Souza Celebrates Emanuel New York’s First Anniversary With Fashion, Fragrance and Style

Designer Victor dE Souza and co-founder Dustin Lujan toasted the boutique’s first year with an intimate evening celebrating luxury fashion, fragrance and Manhattan style.

Fashion designer Victor dE Souza and co-founder Dustin Lujan welcomed VIP guests and industry colleagues to Emanuel New York on May 1 to celebrate the Midtown boutique’s first anniversary.

The intimate gathering at the boutique’s West 39th Street location marked Emanuel New York’s first year as a destination for luxury fragrance, skincare, fashion and accessories in Manhattan’s Garment District.

The evening brought together friends, supporters and members of New York’s fashion and fragrance communities for cocktails, a celebratory cake and remarks reflecting on the boutique’s first year. A citation from New York State Assemblywoman Rebecca Seawright was presented to Emanuel New York, recognizing the milestone and the boutique’s contribution to the city’s retail and creative landscape.

For dE Souza, whose work is known for couture craftsmanship and bold New York sophistication, the celebration reflected the boutique’s vision of merging fashion, fragrance and personal style under one roof.

A Niche Luxury Fragrance Boutique

Since opening, Emanuel New York has established itself as a notable destination for niche luxury fragrance, including its distinction as New York City’s exclusive home of City Rhythm Perfumes, alongside an expanding collection of independent fragrance houses.

A highlight of the evening was the debut of the boutique’s signature scent, “Emanuel New York,” created by Niles Ramadhin in collaboration with City Rhythm Perfumes.

The launch also introduced complementary products designed to extend the fragrance experience: a matching body oil by sKIn and a hand-poured candle by Beyond the Light Candles. Guests also received an exclusive commemorative candle created by Boutique Italiano for the anniversary celebration.
