Summer may get most of the attention, but fall brings a full calendar of its own to the East End.

From Sag Harbor’s waterfront and Montauk’s annual fall celebration to Greenport’s Maritime Festival and harvest season on the North Fork, September, October and November bring some of the East End’s favorite annual traditions — along with film, food, music, art and family events.

FALL FESTIVALS AND EVENTS IN THE HAMPTONS

SEPTEMBER

HarborFest — Sag Harbor

Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 19–20 | Long Wharf and Marine Park, Sag Harbor

Sag Harbor celebrates its maritime history with one of the village’s signature weekends. HarborFest brings live music, food and drink, children’s activities, vendors and maritime events to Long Wharf, Marine Park and locations throughout the village.

Hampton Bays Harvest Festival — Hampton Bays

Saturday, Sept. 26 | Hampton Bays

The annual community fall celebration brings local produce, art, live music and children’s entertainment to the lawn between the Hampton Bays Community Center and Southampton Town Hall.

OCTOBER

Hamptons International Film Festival — East Hampton, Sag Harbor and Southampton

Friday, Oct. 2-Monday, Oct. 12 | Multiple venues

One of the East End’s biggest cultural events returns for its 34th year with 11 days of films, premieres, screenings, conversations and special events across the Hamptons.

Montauk Fall Fest and Clam Chowder Contest — Montauk

Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 10–11, 11 a.m.-5 p.m. | Montauk Town Green

One of Montauk’s biggest fall traditions returns with food, live music, beer and wine, family activities and the annual clam chowder contest. The chowder competition kicks off Saturday morning.

Inlet2Inlet Beach Clean-Up & Fall Fair — Westhampton Beach

Saturday, Oct. 10 | Dune Road and The Great Lawn, Westhampton Beach

The annual event combines a major beach cleanup stretching along Dune Road from Moriches Inlet to Shinnecock Inlet with a Fall Fair on The Great Lawn in Westhampton Beach.

ARF Stroll to the Sea Dog Walk — East Hampton

Saturday, Oct. 10 | East Hampton

Dogs get their own fall outing at ARF Hamptons’ annual Stroll to the Sea Dog Walk, bringing four-legged friends and their humans together while supporting the Animal Rescue Fund of the Hamptons.

An Autumn Evening of Music with Juliet Garrett — East Hampton

Sunday, Oct. 11, 5:30 p.m. | The Leiber Collection, Springs

Singer-songwriter Juliet Garrett performs an intimate outdoor concert surrounded by art and sculpture in The Leiber Collection’s garden in Springs.

Sag Harbor Ragamuffin Parade — Sag Harbor

Sunday, Oct. 25 | Main Street, Sag Harbor

Children, adults and pets dress for Halloween and parade down Main Street during one of Sag Harbor’s longtime fall traditions, followed by family activities.

SEPTEMBER

Harbes Fall Sunflower Festival — Jamesport

Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 19–20 | Harbes Farms Jamesport

Sunflowers meet harvest season at Harbes Farms Jamesport, with fields of blooms, apple and pumpkin picking, hayrides, live music and other fall activities.

Greenport Maritime Festival — Greenport

Friday-Sunday, Sept. 25–27 | Greenport Village

One of the North Fork’s signature annual weekends takes over Greenport with maritime traditions, live music, local food, artisan vendors and family activities. The Land & Sea Gala opens the weekend Friday evening, followed by Saturday’s Maritime Parade and other events throughout the weekend.

Pappi-Palooza 4 — Riverhead

Saturday, Sept. 26 | North Fork Brewing Company

North Fork Brewing Company hosts an afternoon of live music featuring a lineup of rock and metal bands — a decidedly different take on the traditional fall festival.

Southold Historical Museum Autumn Antiques, Fine Art & Crafts Fair — Southold

Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 26–27, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. | Maple Lane Campus, Southold

Browse antiques, fine art, photography, pottery, handmade crafts and vintage finds on the historic grounds of Southold Historical Museum. The weekend also includes live music.

OCTOBER

Hallockville Country Fair — Riverhead

Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 3–4, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. | Hallockville Museum Farm

Hallockville celebrates the East End’s agricultural roots with its annual Country Fair on the historic Sound Avenue farm, featuring traditional crafts, demonstrations, vendors and family activities.

RGNY Stomp Party — Riverhead

Sunday, Oct. 4 | RGNY

Harvest season gets interactive at RGNY with traditional grape stomping, live salsa music and wine at the North Fork vineyard.

North Fork TV Festival — Greenport

Wednesday and Thursday, Oct. 21–22 | Sound View Greenport

The North Fork TV Festival returns for its 11th year with screenings, conversations, panels and events bringing television creators and industry insiders to Greenport.

RGNY Help Us Harvest — Riverhead

Saturday, Oct. 24 | RGNY

Guests join RGNY’s harvest team to hand-pick grapes for the vineyard’s 2026 vintages while learning about the winemaking process. The experience includes wine, bites and a post-harvest toast.

NOVEMBER

Día de los Muertos at RGNY — Riverhead

Saturday, Nov. 7 | RGNY

RGNY closes out harvest season with a Día de los Muertos celebration honoring life, death and legacy through music, ceremonial fire, wine and tradition.

Waterdrinker Fall Festival — Riverhead and Manorville

Waterdrinker’s Fall Festival returns to both locations with pumpkin picking, corn mazes, weekend hayrides, barnyard animals, mini golf, a jumbo jump pad, lawn games and other family activities. At its North Fork location in Riverhead, Dino Days runs Sept. 25-Oct. 25, adding more than 20 giant dinosaurs, a Dino Corn Maze, Prehistoric Pumpkin Patch and weekend Dino shows.
