Heidi Skolnik Celebrates New GLP-1 Book With Wolf Blitzer, Joy Bauer and Hunt Slonem in NYC

The New York Times bestselling author celebrated the release of “Your GLP-1 Game Plan,” a practical guide to nutrition, fitness and life on weight loss medications, at One Art Space in Tribeca, surrounded by Hunt Slonem’s colorful artwork.

Nutrition expert and bestselling author Heidi Skolnik brought together a notable New York crowd to celebrate her new book, “Your GLP-1 Game Plan,” at One Art Space in Tribeca.

Hosted by senior TV agent at ICM Michael Glantz, the evening featured cocktails, conversation and a book signing, with an unexpected artistic backdrop: the final night of Hunt Slonem’s colorful exhibition, “Through the Looking Glass,” featuring his signature rabbits, butterflies and birds.

Published Sept. 22 by Little, Brown Spark, Skolnik’s book has already landed at No. 7 on The New York Times bestseller list in the Advice, How-To & Miscellaneous category.

The 304-page guide goes beyond the prescription, offering practical advice on nutrition, exercise, maintaining muscle, managing side effects and navigating the emotional changes associated with GLP-1 weight loss medications. It also includes 50 recipes.

Among those celebrating were CNN’s Wolf Blitzer and his wife, Lynn; NBC News correspondent Sam Brock; NBC News anchor Savannah Sellers; nutrition expert Joy Bauer; artist Hunt Slonem; and gallery co-owner MaryAnn Giella McCulloh, who curated the exhibition.

Other notable attendees included Brad Skolnik, Eric Hall, Dr. Marci Goolsby, Dr. Ashley Austin, Dr. Ellen Casey, Dr. Jordan Metzl and Esther Newberg.
