Philanthropist and author Jean Shafiroff, along with Friends of Rebecca Seawright, hosted a reception honoring key leaders in the community who go above and beyond the call of leadership.
The Friends of Rebecca Seawright Above and Beyond 2026 Leaders event, held on Oct. 13, 2026 at Shaffiroff’s home on the Upper East Side, honored acclaimed landscape designer and author Frederico Azevedo, Chairman of NY Foundation for Senior Citizens Bill Hubbard, Emmy award-winning TV news host Monica Morales, and philanthropist and advocate for women, children, families Molly Pearson, RN.
Shafiroff, a former honoree of the community leadership award, hosts a television show on philanthropy and is the author of the book, “Successful Philanthropy: How to Make a Life By What You Give.”
NY State Assembly Member Rebecca Seawright spoke about the honorees and their noted service and leadership and then presented them with framed certificates.
