Open Studio at The Art Barge

Barge Open Studio is a weeklong self-directed open studio for artists with prior experience or an established practice. Artists work independently in their chosen 2D medium—acrylic, oil, watercolor, tempera, drawing, collage, or mixed media—without instructor guidance. Participants work independently in a communal studio, and are responsible for keeping the space safe, focused, clean, and productive while exploring and pushing their creative boundaries. Participants must bring all of their own materials, supplies and tools, and a Barge representative will be on site for questions and assistance.

- Bring your own materials; Max. canvas size 36’’
- Easels, tables and counter space are available for use in the Studio and/or on the Barge decks
- NO INSTRUCTOR
Open Studio consists of four sessions that run Monday-Friday, 9 AM-Noon, on the following dates:
- June 1-5
- June 8-12
- June 15-19
- June 22-26
