Meg Ryan Gets Full $15.25M Asking Price for Bridgehampton Home in Fast Hamptons Sale
The actress found a buyer within weeks for the Bridgehampton estate; the deal has now closed, with Broadway producer Henry Tisch revealed as the buyer
Meg Ryan has officially closed the deal on her Bridgehampton home — and there was no discount at the closing table.
The property at 53 Matthews Lane closed Sept. 24 for its full $15.25 million asking price, less than two years after Ryan purchased it for $13.49 million.

The buyer is Broadway and entertainment producer Henry Tisch, according to The Wall Street Journal. Tisch has been involved with Broadway productions including the Tony Award-winning revival of “Merrily We Roll Along” and “The Picture of Dorian Gray,” starring Sarah Snook.
Ryan’s sale represents about a $1.76 million increase over the $13.49 million she paid for the property in 2024, or roughly 13 percent, before transaction costs and any money spent renovating the home.
A Bridgehampton South Retreat
Set on 1.51 acres south of Montauk Highway and about two miles from the ocean, the shingled Bridgehampton house was built in 2016 and renovated in 2025. The nearly 5,000-square-foot home has five bedrooms, seven bathrooms and refined interiors by Kitty McCoy.
The house combines traditional Hamptons details — cedar shingles, covered porches and beamed ceilings — with a long list of amenities. There are five fireplaces, a chef’s kitchen with a large marble-topped island, a library and a second-floor primary suite with vaulted ceilings, its own fireplace, a sitting area, steam shower and private terrace overlooking the grounds.
The finished lower level includes additional living space, a guest suite, kitchenette and gym.
Outside, landscaping by LaGuardia Design Group surrounds a heated 20-by-50-foot gunite pool, multiple entertaining areas and a covered porch with its own fireplace. Mature trees, privacy hedges and a long gated driveway help shield the property from the road.

And one of the details that caught Spark’s attention when the house first came on the market remains among its most memorable: a dedicated pet-washing station with hot and cold water — particularly practical after a day of sandy Hamptons paws.
From $13.49 Million to $15.25 Million
Evan Kulman of Compass represented Ryan in the sale. Paul Brennan and Martha Gundersen of Douglas Elliman represented Tisch.
For Ryan, who has bought, renovated and sold a number of high-profile properties over the years, the Bridgehampton deal proved to be a fast Hamptons turnaround: from a $13.49 million purchase in 2024 to a full-price $15.25 million closing less than two years later.
