Holiday House Hamptons Returns With a Celebration of Design, Tablescapes, Entertaining, and Giving Back
Holiday House Hamptons
This summer’s edition transforms a Bridgehampton home into a showcase of inspired tablescapes, bringing together leading designers in support of breast cancer research.
The party always starts in the kitchen, right? Not this summer. Out in the Hamptons, the center of gravity has shifted. The real action’s at the dining table, where Holiday House Hamptons’ The Summer Table breathes life into a Bridgehampton home, turning it into a full-on celebration of entertaining. The dining table isn’t just where you eat — it’s become the boldest design move of the season.
For ages, homeowners obsessed over their kitchens. Before that, it was all about open-concept living rooms. Now, the dining table’s having its moment. The whole idea of entertaining feels more intentional — tablescapes have stopped playing second fiddle and now lead the orchestra. Out go the perfectly matched plate sets. In comes a mashup of layered linens, hand-thrown ceramics, quirky florals, vintage glassware, and materials that don’t play by the old rules. It’s a shift toward spaces that feel lived-in and ‘collected,’ instead of stiffly ‘decorated.’
That’s exactly what’s happening at Holiday House Hamptons this August. The Summer Table isn’t just another design exhibition. It’s an immersive experience. Forget the classic room-by-room showhouse tour; this time, each designer zeroes in on the art of the table. How does setting the scene shape the whole vibe of gathering? Walk through the home, and you’ll find table installations that read like invitations — each one a different riff on hospitality, craftsmanship, and the spirit of summer.

Think layered tables — bespoke chairs, artisan ceramics, luxury linens, dramatic flower arrangements, fine china, and meaningful objects grouped. Each tablescape tells its story. Color, texture, the glow of candlelight, even the way objects are arranged, can turn dinner into an experience.
Holiday House Hamptons bottles that spirit and still keeps its eye on the bigger picture. Proceeds from The Summer Table go straight to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. It’s not just great design — it’s design with a worthy mission. With developer Christopher Burnside and Brown Harris Stevens backing the event, big names in interior design and luxury brands show up, all rallying for the cause.
Everything kicks off with the Opening Night Gala on Friday, August 14. After that, the doors at 6 Windy Hill Lane in Bridgehampton swing open for public tours from August 15 to August 30.
If you’re into interiors, this isn’t just about what’s pretty. It’s a peek at where luxury design is heading. Kitchens got all the love over the past decade, but now, the dining table is staking its claim. It’s not just a spot to eat—it’s where hospitality, craftsmanship, and real connection get their moment in the sun.
