Sag Harbor American Music Festival Returns After Nor’easter With Two-Day Mashashimuet Park Lineup
After last weekend’s storm forced a postponement, the Sag Harbor American Music Festival is back Oct. 3-4 with two days of free live music, three stages and a newly reshuffled lineup at Mashashimuet Park

After last weekend’s nor’easter forced the Sag Harbor American Music Festival to postpone its outdoor programming, organizers have pulled together a newly reconfigured festival for Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 3-4, at Mashashimuet Park.
And this is more than a simple rain date.
Instead of performances spread across locations throughout the village, this weekend’s festival brings the music together in one place, with three stages at Mashashimuet Park and performances running from 10:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. both days. Admission is free, and the festival will go on rain or shine.

It took some considerable reshuffling to make it happen.
The nor’easter disrupted outdoor events across the region last weekend, including the Sag Harbor festival, which had originally been scheduled for Sept. 24-27. Organizers initially announced plans to move the postponed programming to Oct. 1-4 before ultimately consolidating the festival into this two-day weekend at Mashashimuet Park.
The festival’s indoor headliner concert with Raul Midón at Bay Street Theater went ahead as scheduled Sept. 25. This weekend brings back the free outdoor portion of the festival.
“We’re so grateful to Mashashimuet Park for their enthusiastic support,” festival President and Co-Artistic Director Kelly Dodds said when the new location was announced.
“Bringing the festival together in one place, with three stages, means our community can enjoy a full weekend of free music after this nor’easter storm setback.”
