️The 40th Annual Academy of the Arts Achievement Awards Dinner held on Monday, April 27, 2026 at the Rainbow Room in New York City was a festive celebration of the East End’s finest artists, writers, journalists, leaders, and philanthropists.
Carl Bernstein and Katie Couric received Lifetime Achievement Awards in Media and Communications and Leila Straus received the Special Award for Leadership and Philanthropy.
Victor Garber, Sarah Sze, and Colson Whitehead were recognized as the newest members to the Academy of the Arts. Academy President Susan Stroman hosted the event which drew support across the East End community.
