It is peak season in the Hamptons, and the East End is buzzing with star-powered galas, surprise pop-ups and exclusive backyard bashes. From Hollywood elite to fitness gurus, here is a look at who is making sparks across the South Fork this week.

Katie Holmes and Jason Bard Yarmosky

The Spark: A stylish debut at the Guild Hall summer gala.

Katie Holmes brought effortless summer elegance to East Hampton for the annual Guild Hall benefit. Holmes wore a layered, textured silk-cotton organza strapless dress from Fforme’s fall 2026 collection, showing that the autumn look translates perfectly to a coastal summer night. She paired the minimal style with a Tory Burch Fleming distressed pochette bag and a loose, naturally wavy bun.

On her arm was artist Jason Bard Yarmosky, known for his hyperrealistic portraiture. Yarmosky kept things sharp in a black crewneck knit over a red shirt, tailored black pants and dress shoes. First linked at the Tribeca Film Festival, the couple previously made a quiet appearance at a Ferragamo dinner in Bridgehampton last month. They are quickly cementing their status as one of the East End’s coolest style pairings.

The night of course belonged to Andrea Grover, who was honored for her 10 year anniversary at Guild Hall. We can’t say enough good things about her. Her shining light in all the Guild Hall Gala pics (thanks @hamptonsphotog Lisa Tamburini, who’s favorite line about now is, “WHAT DAY IS IT?”) says it all. We love you Andrea. And you too, Katie, who was cooking up a storm this past weekend for family — giving Ina Garten a run for her money. That’s quite a run.

Bruce Springsteen

The Spark: A casual shopping spree in East Hampton.

For a second, people thought they were transported to Main Street in Amagansett, in front of the Stephen Talkhouse. But no, they were still in East Hampton.

Rock royalty touched down in the regular world this week. “The Boss” himself, Bruce Springsteen, 76, was spotted catching the summer breeze in East Hampton. Fans and photographers caught the music icon flashing a big smile and waving to cameras while shopping at the Blue & Cream boutique. Even on a low-key retail run, Springsteen’s legendary charisma proved he still commands any room, or Hamptons hamlet he sets his boots in.

Bethenny Frankel’s Supermodel Cafe

The Spark: A blockbuster soft launch in East Quogue.

Corcoran Group real estate broker John Frangeskos did not wait for the official ribbon-cutting at Bethenny Frankel’s highly anticipated pop-up, Supermodel Cafe. Frangeskos stopped by the East Quogue location a day early to inspect the merchandise and sample the menu.

“The energy was great, and it was an exciting soft launch,” Frangeskos told SPARK, noting that he ran into Frankel herself. “She was lovely — great personality.”

Frangeskos gave a glowing review to the salted caramel latte and noted that the cafe features a plentiful supply of “schmears, bagels and lattes,” alongside exclusive merch. By the following day, lines were already stretching down the block. The pop-up is expected to run for three weeks.

The East Hampton Library’s Authors Night

The Spark: A sold-out literary celebration.

Local publicist and author Norah Lawlor found herself in a rare position on Saturday: promoting her own work. Lawlor was a featured author at the East Hampton Library’s annual Authors Night, where her new title, Mom’s Book of Wisdom, completely sold out before the evening concluded. Lawlor, known for her sharp PR and impeccable manners, credited her success to her mother’s timeless lessons.

Nearby, the tent’s loudest and busiest tables belonged to media figures Don Lemon and Carol Leifer, who signed books at a furious pace. “My hand feels like it is falling off,” Lemon joked to the crowd.

Animal advocate Beth Stern also seemed to be enjoying the small talk with fans while signing copies of her children’s book, Coco and Stephen Together Forever. When asked what gives her sparks, she immediately answered, “My husband, Howard!” As for the whereabouts of the King of All Media? “Home. In bed,” Beth said with a laugh.

Later, SPARK caught up with author Geralyn Lucas, who was honored this summer by the Ellen Hermanson Foundation. The Why I Wore Lipstick to My Mastectomy author hosted guests at her stunning East Hampton home in honor of author Michael J. Norton, who  wrote The S@#t I Heard at Yoga and couldn’t sign enough of them (check out his essay for Spark Hamptons, titled The S@#t I Heard in the Hamptons). Producers from NBC milled about, and former William Morris/Endeavor agent Betsy Berg was there with her husbnd Joel, which made the event even more lively.

Lucas is a wonder, and if you need to confirm her sense of humor, a visit to her powder room in her house features a dish that says, “Don’t Do Coke in the Bathroom”  Her She-Shed guest house featured a horse with no name,  and a lamp shade on its head which means we will be friends for life.

Over in Georgica, legendary journalist Lynn Sherr  held a delicious, intimate dinner for author Chris Pavone who wrote The Doorman. Lively conversation and a delicious seafood meal catered from The Seafood Shoppe made the night a success.

Isaac Boots

The Spark: Torching calories and freezing for a cause at EHP Resort.

Celebrity fitness guru Isaac Boots is keeping the East End sculpted this summer, bringing his cult-favorite “Torch’d” workouts to a residency at Sí Sí at EHP Resort & Marina. But it isn’t all burning muscles and poolside views.

To kick off a recent intensive workout weekend, the trainer took the freezing plunge, hosting an ALS Ice Bucket Challenge on-site to raise money and awareness. Between the high-octane sweat sessions and icy charity dunks, he is making sure the Hamptons crowd stays both fit and philanthropic.
