Gosmans in Montauk Debuts Lobster House & Clam Bar for 2026 Season on the Waterfront

New dockside seafood concept revives Inlet Café favorites as Topside Bar returns with sunset views, cocktails, and classic Montauk summer energy

Gosmans is kicking off its 2026 season with a new waterfront draw: the Lobster House & Clam Bar, a dockside seafood spot inspired by longtime favorites from Gosmans former Inlet Café and Clam Bar.

Set directly on the harbor at the iconic Gosmans docks, the new concept leans into classic Montauk simplicity — fresh seafood, fast casual service, and tables (or takeout windows) just steps from the water. It’s built for easy summer eating with no pretense, just boats, salt air, and the day unfolding around it.

The menu centers on straightforward coastal favorites, including lobster tacos, pan-seared tuna, and mussels in white cream sauce. The kitchen is led by chef Tony Cruz, a 15-year Gosmans veteran, alongside chef Eddie G, a Food Network personality and former NFL VIP catering chef.

Gosmans PEI mussels in white cream sauce are a favorite dish.

The Lobster House & Clam Bar will be open daily from 12 to 9 p.m., with reservations available for parties of eight or more.

Also returning this season is Topside Bar, the open-air perch above Montauk Harbor known for its sweeping views and easygoing energy. It remains one of the harbor’s most recognizable sunset spots, serving cocktails, rosé, beer, and daily food and drink specials as boats move in and out below.

Gosmans Topside Bar returns on May 15, 2026.

The Lobster House & Clam Bar opens Friday, May 8, ahead of Mother’s Day weekend. Topside Bar follows Friday, May 15.
