Marking 31 years of local care and lifesaving impact, The Ellen Hermanson Foundation’s 2026 Summer Gala honors Geralyn Lucas, author of Why I Wore Lipstick to My Mastectomy, for her advocacy and contributions to the breast cancer community.

The oceanfront evening includes cocktails and hors d’oeuvres, dinner, live and silent auctions, dancing, and a beach bonfire. Proceeds support The Ellen Hermanson Foundation’s mission of providing access to breast cancer care, emotional support, and wellness services for women across the East End.
