LUNCH Lobster Roll Southampton to Host Mahjong Open Play & Brunch

LUNCH Lobster Roll Southampton, located at 32 Montauk Highway, Southampton, NY, will welcome Montauk Mahj for a special Mahjong Open Play & Brunch on Monday, October 19 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The two-hour hosted social Mahjong event will take place in LUNCH Lobster Roll Southampton’s private room and is open to players of varying skill levels who are familiar with the basics of American Mahjong. Whether guests have recently completed lessons and are looking to build their confidence or are seasoned players looking for a fun morning of play, the event offers an opportunity to gather around the table, meet fellow Mahjong enthusiasts and enjoy brunch at the iconic East End restaurant.

Guests will enjoy a buffet brunch featuring mini bagels, homemade muffins, vegetable frittata and seasonal fruit, along with freshly brewed coffee, herbal teas and a selection of soft drinks.

Play will follow National Mah Jongg League (NMJL) rules, and guests are encouraged to bring their current NMJL card. A limited number of cards will also be available to borrow. Mahjong play will begin promptly at 11 a.m., and attendees are encouraged to arrive 15 minutes early to allow time for parking, check-in and seating.

Those registering with friends may include their preferred tablemates when signing up. Organizers will make every effort to accommodate seating requests while arranging tables according to players’ experience level and pace.
