Edie Falco to Star in One-Night Benefit Performance of Joan Didion’s The Year of Magical Thinking in Westhampton Beach

Award-winning actress Edie Falco will star in a one-night benefit performance of Joan Didion’s The Year of Magical Thinking at the Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center on Aug. 2.

Presented by The New Group, one of New York City’s leading contemporary theater companies, the Tony-nominated solo play is adapted from Didion’s bestselling memoir and explores love, loss and resilience through the celebrated writer’s signature honesty and keen observation.

Falco is a longtime collaborator and alumna of The New Group, returning for this special benefit presentation. A four-time Emmy Award winner and two-time Golden Globe winner, she is best known for her iconic roles as Carmela Soprano in The Sopranos and Jackie Peyton in Nurse Jackie.
