Brooke Shields Headlines Southampton Hospital Foundation East Hampton Emergency Department Luncheon at the Maidstone Club

Brooke Shields will headline the Southampton Hospital Foundation’s 6th annual East Hampton Emergency Department Luncheon on Thursday, July 9, 2026, at the Maidstone Club in East Hampton, supporting the Stony Brook East Hampton Emergency Department and emergency care across the East End.

The annual Southampton Hospital Foundation luncheon has become one of the East End’s signature summer philanthropic events, bringing together community leaders and supporters in support of the Stony Brook East Hampton Emergency Department (EHED), which provides 24/7 emergency care for the East End.

Co-chaired by Jill Davis, Kate Davis, Kristin Douglass, Hollis Forbes, Liz Lange, and Mary Margaret Trousdale, the event returns to East Hampton for an afternoon centered on conversation, community, and care.

A conversation with Brooke Shields

Actress, model, bestselling author, and entrepreneur Brooke Shields will headline this year’s luncheon in conversation.

Shields will reflect on her career spanning film, television, publishing, and business, along with her latest book, Brooke Shields Is Not Allowed to Get Old. She will also discuss her haircare brand Commence and her focus on aging, wellness, and reinvention in midlife.

Supporting East Hampton emergency care

The Stony Brook East Hampton Emergency Department, located at 400 Pantigo Place, provides 24/7 emergency care for the East End and has treated more than 11,000 patients since opening in 2025.

The facility operates as an off-campus extension of Stony Brook Southampton Hospital and is one of the few freestanding emergency departments in New York State.
