Madewell is expanding big-time this week with three new locations, including a new Sag Harbor store opening next to Dragon Hemp and the movie theater. It’s a controversial move — and the biggest chain to flex in Sag so far.

Keyes General — 1 Hampton Road

Art, ceramics, museum-quality artifacts and tribal finds, jewelry, sculpture and more — this new Southampton venture from acclaimed Sag Harbor gallery owner Julie Keyes is a cornucopia of creativity and one-of-a-kind pieces for the home — and yourself.

This weekend, Nashville designer Lash Larue brings his hats and leather goods to Keyes General on Friday. Each piece from the self-taught milliner reflects his immense curiosity and appreciation for his surroundings.

LAURACEA — 47B Jobs Lane

Hidden inside a Jobs Lane courtyard, LAURACEA brings equestrian-inspired Italian leather goods from Wellington and NYC to Southampton this season.

The new store, tucked behind Topiary, opens Memorial Day weekend — welcome news for anyone who appreciates a high-quality leather bag elevated for both style and function.

A huge hit with Wellington’s devoted horse crowd, you don’t need to be an equestrian to love this luxury brand. Founder Tamara Makris is tapping into the Hamptons with style.

Zadig & Voltaire — 54 Main Street

Founded in Paris, this luxury contemporary line is elegant and unique — perfect for those with flair who embrace a free spirit.

On Saturday, May 23, from 3–5 p.m., shop for a cause: a portion of sales will support the American Heart Association’s lifesaving research, education and prevention efforts nationwide.


Dick’s Sporting Goods — 34 Park Place

A new boutique-style shop and first-of-its-kind experiential retail concept for the company, this pop-up through Oct. 18 offers in-house private-label brands that rotate throughout the season.

Stella Flame Gallery — 2385 Montauk Highway
