This show is wildly entertaining, thanks in large part to its star, Tony nominee Jonathan Groff, whose performance as hit singer Bobby Darin is unforgettable. The Circle in the Square has been transformed into a captivating nightclub as Groff belts out classics like “Mack the Knife” and “Splish Splash.” Hurry—his final performance before exiting the show is March 29, 2026.

Come for the mesmerizing performances. This revival stars Aaron Tveit, Lea Michele and Nicholas Christopher, delivering A-plus vocals and commanding stage presence. Some critics have taken issue with the book and narrative clarity, but you don’t need to understand the game of chess to enjoy this powerhouse production.
