Where the Hamptons Is Watching the Knicks Now—and the World Cup Next
Knicks Game 5 watch party in Amagansett Square on Saturday, June 13, 2026, courtesy of the EH Chamber of Commerce
Big screens, packed rooms, and a handful of curated viewing events—this is where game nights come alive on the South Fork.
Knicks fever and World Cup energy are hitting the Hamptons at the same time. The Knicks are deep in a playoff run with games continuing this week, while the 2026 FIFA World Cup runs from June 11 through July 19, arriving immediately after and taking over the global sports calendar.
Across the South Fork, that means screens filling up fast—NBA basketball on now, international football right behind it. The point isn’t just watching the game, it’s being in the room for it: the collective reactions, the sudden eruptions after a big play, and the excuse to turn a night around a cocktail or something off the menu that feels tied to the moment.
Where to watch? Here’s our Spark Guide to the best places in the Hamptons to cheer your team on.

Knicks Watch Party at Amangansett Square
Saturday, June 13 8:30 p.m. Doors open at 8 p.m. Amagansett Square Knicks Game 5 watch party in Amagansett on Saturday, June 13, 2026
The Greater East Hampton Chamber of Commerce has announced this watch party in Amagansett Square or Game 5 when the Knicks will try to clinch the NBA title against the Spurs. If it’s anything like the turnout when they did this last week at Newtown Lane, expect a large, enthusiastic crowd spurring the Knicks on to victory for the big one.
Cittaa Nuova bar TVs are always on for the big games
A village staple for drinks and dinner and a solid place to catch the game—the bar screens are the draw here (and the recent huge screen Newtown Lane watch party out front brought Knicks fans to the street out front).
Loud, fast, and built for Knicks nights and World Cup cheering: thin crust pizzas that spin (with the help of staff), authentic Italian entrees, cocktails, and multiple TVs in constant rotation.
No-frills, all-in local energy. When the game is on, the whole room is watching. An historic bar with a lively crowd. Dinner avail and usually a wait. Open 7 days.
One of the most reliable big-screen setups in town. A straightforward, high-energy game-day room when the Knicks are on or major matches are playing. Note: Clubhouse is closed Monday thru Wednesday.
Watch the World Cup on the big screen at Calissa in Water Mill
One of the East End’s most consistent programmed viewing destinations, with large-scale screens and organized sports and World Cup events throughout the season.
A one-off family World Cup viewing event featuring a screening of Mexico vs. Czechia, plus crafts, pizza, and a Super Soccer Stars soccer clinic for kids.
