The Southampton screening of LILLY featured a panel with Academy Award nominee Patricia Clarkson, executive producer Wendy Federman and director Rachel Feldman, followed by a reception
Southampton Arts Center hosted a screening of LILLY, the film inspired by the life of Lilly Ledbetter, an Alabama tire factory worker whose fight for equal pay reached the U.S. Supreme Court and helped bring national attention to pay discrimination. The film previously screened at the Hamptons International Film Festival.
Simone Levinson, founder and chairperson of Southampton Arts Center, delivered opening remarks. Following the screening, Academy Award nominee Patricia Clarkson and executive producer Wendy Federman joined director Rachel Feldman, appearing via Zoom, for a panel discussion moderated by entrepreneur, philanthropist and producer Cheri Kaufman. The discussion received a standing ovation from the audience, followed by a reception.
