Pinkwater Metzger Team Leaves Douglas Elliman for SERHANT. in the Hamptons
East Hampton brokers Julie Pinkwater and Will Metzger make the brokerage move with $160 million in reported career sales
The Pinkwater Metzger Team, an East Hampton-based real estate duo led by Julie Pinkwater and Will Metzger, has joined SERHANT. after leaving Douglas Elliman.
The team has $160 million in career sales volume and recorded $18.66 million in sales over the past year, according to HousingWire. Pinkwater and Metzger ranked No. 13 among small teams in East Hampton in the 2026 RealTrends Verified City rankings.
“For us, the choice to join SERHANT. was clear,” Pinkwater said in the announcement. “As the luxury real estate market rapidly shifts, staying with the best is essential. We believe SERHANT. is leading the pack.”
The move brings two brokers with complementary backgrounds in sales, marketing and advertising to SERHANT.’s Hamptons operation.
Pinkwater has more than 25 years of experience leading sales teams, with a background in strategic sales and client service. Metzger brings experience in global advertising and marketing, giving the team an additional focus on positioning and promoting Hamptons properties.
At Douglas Elliman, the Pinkwater Metzger Team worked with buyers, sellers, renters and investors across the Hamptons, handling services ranging from pricing and marketing to negotiation.
The team also earned recognition within Douglas Elliman. In the brokerage’s 2025 Ellies awards, the Pinkwater Metzger Team tied for No. 11 among Hamptons teams by sales volume and ranked No. 11 by gross commission income.
The move comes as SERHANT., founded by broker and television personality Ryan Serhant, continues to expand its presence in New York and nationally.
For Pinkwater and Metzger, the move puts the East Hampton team under a growing brokerage with an increasingly visible presence in the luxury real estate market.
