R.AIRE at The Hampton Maid to Celebrate Partnership with Familia Escudero at Six-Course Wine Dinner
R.AIRE at The Hampton Maid, 259 East Montauk Highway, Hampton Bays, will celebrate its ongoing partnership with acclaimed Spanish wine producer Familia Escudero with a special six-course wine dinner on Thursday, October 29 at 6 p.m.
The evening will bring together six courses from R.AIRE paired with six wines from Familia Escudero, offering guests an opportunity to explore the Spanish producer’s wines while learning more about the relationship that has developed between the Escudero family and R.AIRE.
A highlight of the evening will be the newly released 2001 Gran Reserva, the latest collaboration between R.AIRE and Familia Escudero. The special bottle builds upon two previous Tempranillo wine collaborations between R.AIRE and the Escudero family, which will also be showcased during the dinner. Together, the wines offer guests a taste of the partnership and the shared appreciation for Spanish food and wine that has continued to bring the two together.
The six-course dinner will begin with Escalivada, featuring sardine and crostini, paired with R.AIRE Blanco Tempranillo. The second course will feature Bacalao with white beans, green peas, pil-pil and green sauce, paired with Benito Escudero Blanco Chardonnay.
The third course, Chicken Pintxo with Moroccan couscous and mojo verde, will be paired with Logos Cabernet Sauvignon, followed by Callos a la Madrileña, a tripe, chorizo and garbanzo bean stew, paired with R.AIRE Tempranillo.
For the fifth course, guests will enjoy Rabo de Buey, featuring braised lamb shank and root vegetables, paired with R.AIRE Gran Reserva, giving guests the opportunity to experience the newly released collaboration as part of the evening.
Dinner will conclude with Pumpkin Flan with caramel and pumpkin seeds, paired with Becquer Vermouth.
The Familia Escudero Wine Dinner will take place on Thursday, October 29 at 6 p.m. at R.AIRE at The Hampton Maid. The experience is $125 per person and includes six courses, six wine pairings and gratuity; tax is additional.
