Private Spring Event at The Gardens Mall Blends Fashion, Philanthropy and a Preview of Habitat’s 40th Anniversary Celebration

Fashion met philanthropy at Saks Fifth Avenue in The Gardens Mall as the luxury retailer partnered with Alice + Olivia for a private spring luncheon benefiting Habitat for Humanity of Greater Palm Beach County.

Hosted by Dream Builders’ Ball co-chair Emily Pantelides, the April 24 gathering brought together supporters for an afternoon centered on community impact, style and a shared commitment to affordable housing across Palm Beach County.

Guests were welcomed with a champagne reception before sitting down for lunch inside the store, where they also previewed the Alice + Olivia Spring 2026 collection — a bold mix of color, texture and modern silhouettes.

The afternoon featured remarks from Saks Fifth Avenue General Manager Suzanne Key, Pantelides and Habitat for Humanity of Greater Palm Beach County CEO Jennifer Thomason, each underscoring the importance of local partnerships in advancing the organization’s mission.

“Saks Fifth Avenue is pleased to support organizations that contribute to the fabric of the communities we serve,” Key said. “We value opportunities that feel both considered and connected.”

Pantelides reflected on the event’s purpose and the significance of supporting Habitat during a milestone year.

“It was a privilege to host an afternoon where fashion and philanthropy came together so naturally,” she said. “Supporting Habitat’s work, especially as the organization marks 40 years, resonates deeply across this community.”

Thomason noted the event’s focus on Habitat’s long-term impact.

“As we celebrate 40 years, we remain committed to expanding access to homeownership and continuing this work alongside people who care deeply about this community,” she said.

Following the luncheon, guests enjoyed a private shopping experience with personalized styling from the Saks Fifth Avenue and Alice + Olivia teams. A portion of proceeds from the afternoon benefited Habitat for Humanity of Greater Palm Beach County’s efforts to provide safe, affordable housing for local families.

The luncheon also offered an early look at Habitat’s upcoming Dream Builders’ Ball: Celebrating 40 Years of Building the Foundation for Dreams, set for Oct. 9, 2026, at The Breakers Palm Beach. The black-tie evening will bring together community leaders and supporters to celebrate four decades of impact across Palm Beach County.
