Amagansett Square to Host Knicks Game 5 Watch Party Saturday Night

Hamptons fans can gather for a free outdoor watch party as the Knicks look to win their first NBA championship since 1973.

If you’re in the Hamptons on Saturday and looking to watch the Knicks in a big way, Amagansett Square will host a free Game 5 Watch Party presented by the East Hampton Chamber of Commerce. The event comes as New York looks to capture its first NBA championship since 1973.

The outdoor watch party will feature a giant screen and a chance to cheer alongside fellow Knicks fans. If it’s anything like the Game 2 gathering on Newtown Lane, expect plenty of energy as New Yorkers come together to root for their team.

Amagansett Square, in the heart of Amagansett just off Main Street, opens to fans at 8 p.m. ahead of the 8:30 p.m. tipoff. Parking may be the biggest challenge, so arriving early is a good idea for the best viewing spots.

The Knicks take a 3-1 series lead into Game 5 and have a chance to end a 53-year championship drought with a victory Saturday night. If they can get the job done, expect plenty of celebrating across the Hamptons.

Of course, Amagansett Square isn’t the only game in town. Plenty of Hamptons bars and restaurants will have Game 5 on, offering fans another way to catch the action with food, drinks and air conditioning.
