Donald Trump Jr.’s Former Mother-in-Law Lists Southampton Condo for $3.75 Million
Bonnie Kay Haydon, mother ofuth Vanessa Trump, is asking $3.75 million for the renovated three-bedroom home in Southampton Village’s sought-after Whitefield community
A Southampton condo owned by Bonnie Kay Haydon, mother of Vanessa Trump and former mother-in-law of Donald Trump Jr., has hit the market for $3.75 million.
Haydon, 80, purchased the home in 2023 for $2.5 million, according to property records. The 2,604-square-foot residence has three bedrooms and 3½ bathrooms and is located in Whitefield, an exclusive condominium community in Southampton Village.
The property is listed with Adam Hofer and Michael Lorber of Douglas Elliman.
“There are not a lot of condo and townhouse opportunities in the Hamptons,” Hofer said. “And this one is renovated — there are not many renovated units in Whitefield, so that’s a bonus.”
He added that since Haydon purchased her condo, only one other unit in the community has changed hands.
“Whitefield is one of the most sought-after and noteworthy communities because it’s a beautiful piece of property,” Hofer said. “They have a pretty high level of privacy, they all have really great outdoor spaces, and they are right in the Village of Southampton. The common grounds are beautiful and super-well maintained.”
Filled with natural light, Haydon’s condo features two fireplaces. The primary bedroom is decorated in shades of pink, while a bonus room includes a billiards table with a purple felt top. The residence also offers front and rear outdoor spaces.
Whitefield residents have access to a swimming pool, tennis courts and pickleball courts.
It’s not the only high-profile property Haydon, a former model who once ran the modeling agency Kay Models, has put on the market in recent years. In 2020, she listed her Fifth Avenue condo on Manhattan’s Upper East Side for $8.39 million.
Haydon had purchased that property for $6.4 million in 2018 from Elizabeth Ailes, widow of former Fox News chairman Roger Ailes. The purchase came the same year Vanessa Trump filed for divorce from Donald Trump Jr.
Haydon was also an early investor in Rao’s Specialty Foods, the company known for its popular Italian pasta sauces, and reportedly received a significant payout when the company was sold.
The Upper East Side apartment ultimately sold for $5.85 million in 2022, according to property records.
Vanessa and Donald Trump Jr., who married at his father’s Mar-a-Lago estate in Palm Beach, Florida, in 2005, have five children. They divorced in 2018.
Donald Trump Jr. married Palm Beach socialite and model Bettina Anderson in May. The couple legally married in West Palm Beach before holding a private wedding celebration in the Bahamas. President Donald Trump did not attend the Bahamas celebration, saying that while he wanted to be there for his son, his responsibilities running the country kept him in Washington.
