Alec and Hilaria Baldwin Slash Another $1 Million From Amagansett Estate, Now Asking $18.995 Million

The latest price cut lowers the asking price of the longtime Hamptons home to $18.995 million after nearly four years of starts, stops and market resets.

Alec and Hilaria Baldwin are making their latest—and perhaps strongest—push to sell their longtime Amagansett estate.

The couple has knocked another $1 million off the asking price of the property, reducing it to $18.995 million just as the Hamptons summer season gets underway. The latest cut comes after nearly four years of listing, delisting and repricing one of the East End’s most recognizable celebrity homes.

$10M Less Than When the House was First Listed

The estate first came to market in 2022 with a $29 million asking price. Since then, it has seen several price reductions, temporary withdrawals and a reported accepted offer that never closed. The current asking price represents a nearly 35 percent discount from the original listing.

Listed by Scott Bradley of Saunders & Associates, the approximately 8,500-square-foot estate sits on 10 acres in Amagansett and includes five bedrooms, six full baths and two half baths. Amenities include a pool, private library, movie theater, wine-tasting room and guest cottage. The property also served as the backdrop for the family’s TLC reality series, The Baldwins.

An Historic Residence with Extensive Renovations

Alec Baldwin purchased the property in the mid-1990s for $1.75 million, long before marrying Hilaria. Known as the Nathaniel Baker House, the historic residence dates to the 18th century and has undergone extensive renovations and expansions over the years to accommodate the couple’s family and preserve one of Amagansett’s notable historic homes.

Despite the repeated attempts to sell, the Baldwins have spoken affectionately about the property. Last year, Alec told The New York Times that it was “a kid’s home” and one he never wanted to leave, while Hilaria recently described the estate as “a piece of paradise” in a social media farewell to the home.

Will This Latest Price Cut Seal A Deal?

The latest price cut suggests the Baldwins are serious about making a deal. After several years of testing the market, the newest reduction could position one of Amagansett’s best-known celebrity estates more competitively as the peak Hamptons summer season gets underway.

For East End real estate watchers, the latest move adds another chapter to one of the Hamptons’ most closely followed celebrity listings. Whether this latest market reset finally brings a buyer remains one of the more intriguing luxury real estate stories of the season.
