Andrew Hawkins and Lisa Walsh-Hawkins hosted an intimate Madison Avenue concert celebrating Mozart, music and the arts.

Acclaimed soprano Kathryn Lewek brought a little Mozart magic to Manhattan as nearly 70 guests gathered for an elegant evening of champagne and music benefiting the American Mozarteum Society.

Hosted Wednesday evening at the Madison Avenue residence of Andrew Hawkins and Lisa Walsh-Hawkins, joined by their daughter, Lauren Walsh, the intimate chamber concert featured three arias performed by Lewek, celebrated for her portrayal of the Queen of the Night in Mozart’s The Magic Flute, a role she has sung more than 350 times worldwide, including a record 85 performances at the Metropolitan Opera.

The evening offered a special preview as Lewek performed “Come scoglio” from Mozart’s Così fan tutte before an audience for the first time, ahead of her debut as Fiordiligi at Mozart Week in Salzburg in January 2027. Her program also included selections from Verdi’s La traviata and Mozart’s Die Entführung aus dem Serail.
