John Mayer Returns to the Hamptons for Intimate Stephen Talkhouse Concert
The Grammy-winning musician will perform an exclusive SiriusXM concert at the iconic Amagansett venue, with Andy Cohen joining him for a pre-show conversation.
John Mayer’s rolling back into the Hamptons for one of the summer’s hottest shows on the East End. On August 26, the multi-Grammy-winning singer/songwriter/guitarist is playing the Stephen Talkhouse in Amagansett, and it’s Mayer’s only live full-band gig this summer.
If you’re hoping for stadium-style spectacle, forget it. Mayer’s trading the big arena for a few hundred lucky fans, thanks to SiriusXM’s annual Hamptons concert tradition. The Talkhouse is intimate, legendary, and suddenly the epicenter of August.
Before he picks up his guitar, Mayer’s catching up with Andy Cohen, his buddy and SiriusXM staple. They’ll lean in for a pre-show talk about music, creativity, and the wild ride of Mayer’s own SiriusXM channel, “Life with John Mayer.” It’s a quirky, personal mix — music, behind-the-scenes stories, an open-book about his career that sets it apart from your usual satellite radio fare. The concert’s airing August 29, so if you can’t score a ticket, you won’t be totally left out.

Mayer’s still got the chops — seven Grammys, 20 million + albums sold, and two decades under his belt of playing to rooms big and small. He’s stayed relevant, and those Dead & Company tours pulled in a new crowd with the Grateful Dead’s catalog, not to mention the Sphere residency in Vegas.
